Nick Branch has always made stuff up. As a lifelong songwriter and musician, he was constantly writing down ideas for future songs. Friends told him he should put some of his phrases onto t shirts (and if he did they all wanted one). His tee shirt business started as a one-man operation in his back shed where he used a screen-printing process. Each shirt was hand-printed from a screen, some paint and a squeegee. The first t shirt was “In Mullet We Trust” in homage to the local fishermen along the Gulf Coast. Other tees were gradually added. It has been several years since the first “mullet” shirts were printed but the operation is still the same. Nick personally hand-prints every shirt that he sells. He has changed only one thing - the company name to Planet Earth Tees. His widely diverse group of friends have asked for more designs to voice their agendas and concerns.
